Redwood Regional Park | An intimate elopement

Dear Diary,

Amanda reached out to me from a UC Berkeley Facebook page where she found my services for photography. We scheduled a zoom call where I got to meet her husband to be, Aaron. I got to learn about their special love story and how he popped the question! These two met each other during high school and lived in the same town on the East Coast! He asked Amanda’s father for his blessings and her father called her immediately and ruined the surprise haha. But little did she know he would propose to her in Lake Tahoe, up in the mountains after they reached the top! Aaron expressed that he was nervous the whole entire time! Honestly, I would be too!

Amanda came to me with many locations in mind in the east bay, and I personally went to them to see if it was suitable for their special day. After visiting, I didn’t find it suitable for the session so I suggested Redwood Regional Park! Aaron expressed that he would be nervous in front of the camera but I told him that we would be just having lots of fun and not to worry!

When I finally met these two on their special day, I was in awe! These two were such a fun bunch! They were so silly! With all my hangouts (aka photo sessions, that’s what I like to call it), I always aim for my couples to be as real and authentic as they can be, and not rely heavily on cliche posing. These two did wonderfully! We did some photos before they read their vows in the intimate part of the forest! After that, I gifted them a bottle of champagne and had Aaron spray it for the pictures!

I wish you two lovers a lifetime of happiness <3

Love,

Victorio
